Losing Myself

Friends and family make me happy, and I heart them dearly.

But sometimes, I stand alone, and see the unseen road ahead of me.
Uncertain of what God wants me to do.
Not knowing where this road will take me to.

No matter how strong and wise I try to be, the sheer vastness of the uncertainty and the unknown still scare me.

And I feel the tension between God and me, and the tension within myself.
I even try to complain to God, "What do You want from me? I am just a kid.."

Yet there is nothing else I can do than to stand, take a deep breath, and say a silent prayer,
Before I keep on running along the road that I had decided.

God.. I desire to lose myself in You.
