Spreading Love, Hope, & Laughters

If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching.
Or cool one pain.
Or help one fainting robin
Into his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.

Amazing Grace

Have mercy upon me, O God,
According to Your lovingkindness;
According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,
Blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
And cleanse me from my sin.

For I acknowledge my transgressions,
And my sin is always before me.
Against You, You only, have I sinned,
And done this evil in Your sight -
That You may be found just when You speak,
And blameless when You judge.

Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
And in sin my mother conceived me.
Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts,
And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;
Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Make me hear joy and gladness,
That the bones You have broken may rejoice.
Hide Your face from my sins,
And blot out all my iniquities.

Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from Your presence,
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,
And sinners shall be converted to You.

Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,
The God of my salvation,
And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.
O Lord, open my lips,
And my mouth shall show forth Your praise.
For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You do not delight in burnt offering.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and contrite heart -
These, O God, You will not despise.

Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion;
Build the walls of Jerusalem.
Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness,
With burnt offering and whole burnt offering;
Then they shall offer bulls on Your altar.

'What happens when the sky and the earth meet?'

When the sky and the earth were created,

The sky does not know the depth of the water within, and
The earth does not know the uncontrollable fire within.

In the Beginning,
When the water meets such a fire,
It is burnt by the fire's burning passion, and
When the fire meets such a water,
It is bewildered by its calm stillness and the vast height of the sky.

But with the faithful care of the rain and the wind from the sky,
The small sparks of the fire will transform into the constant flame
That warms the things of the earth and the sky.

Behold!
In their harmony and contrast,
The beauty of life is revealed, and
The world is made wholesome and complete.

A Silent Soul

"For a dream comes through much activity,
And a fool's voice is known by his many words."
-Ecclesiastes 5:3 [New King James Version]

I have been brought low before.
And it was His love that saved me.
I am brought low once again.
And I choose to bring myself even lower.

I strive to embrace where I come from, who I am, how God created me to be, the way people are, and the way the world is.

So that my dreams are not built on the vanity of the clouds in the air, but grounded on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ that will not easily be swayed by others and the things of the world.

"Waiting for my wings to be ready so that I can soar... really soar for God" -G. Harjono

Father God,
Thank You.
Humble me,
So that I may draw closer to You.
So that I may learn to love others more.

My dreams and my future are in Your Hands.
Give me strength to be molded & used by You.
And to follow You wherever You guide my heart..
